What must be the main role of political parties in today's world? In my country, most of the citizens were used to support political parties like soccer teams. They wouldn't even think about supporting a different party. They never critisized the decisions and actions of their political parties. According to them this was betrayal. In my opinion, the main role of politicians must be to serve their country with honesty, respect and devotion. All of the countries were built on some moral values. Mine was built on blood which was shed for freedom. This blood was not only belong to politics, governors or professional soldiers. It was belong to to the real citizens of my country who sacrifized their lifes without hesitation to protect their honour and indepenency. Political parties can not survive unless the citizens support them. You can't support them like supporting sport teams. Abovementioned ideas are changing now. Citizens started asking questions and calling politicians to account. They started using their votes to urge and to presswure politicians to do the right thing. As a member of my precious country which is full of warm-hearted people, ı am very proud of the recent developments in the political field.
