In real life the only possible thing to do is to reach an equilibrium. Trying to be perfect and to demand perfection from the others is completely useless and it produces divisions and isolation. We are not here to learn how to be perfect, but to discover how to hold in equilibrium our masculine or feminine components, our being childish or mature and all the other aspects of ourselves and how to share them with other people. A good example is represented by our reactions to different situations. Sometimes we allow our impulsiveness to take the lead, but we should understand that finding a positive solution to every problem and an equilibrium among different people is not only possible but it should also represent our main goal.
It becomes fundamental, however, to recognize that perfection doesn't exist, while instead the search of a balanced relationship with the others, which implies respecting everyone's individuality, is possible and desirable.
The word "perfection" seems to define something close and limited to me. Being aware of our imperfection pushes ourselves to get better, to get in the game and to try to reach an ideal that, of course, will always be far from us.
Perfection is not being perfect but always trying to be perfect.
