The origin of comic books in the US

The first comic book, famous funnies, was released in 1934 and since then, many stories were created. The US became the leading comic book publisher and the only countries who could compete were England and Japan.
The history of comic books are divided in 5 eras:
-The Platinum era
-The Gold era:
-The Silver era
-The bronze era
-The modern era
