According to Yo-Yo Ma’s I Believe story, he believes in the infinite variety of human expression.
He is a musician of many cultures (Chinese, French, and American) who thinks that every culture has its uniqueness.
He felt uncomfortable to choose to be in only one culture; he decided to select the good values of each culture and embraced them. After that he applied his belief to music, which he thought that it also didn’t belong to any cultures or any countries.
He stated that all of us have different, unpredictable, and infinite way to express ourselves. We must look beyond the point that we have assigned to do but find the point that fits the way that we want to be.

Is blogging a narcissistic act?
Saying that blogging is a narcissistic act is way too extreme to me. If it were, our cyber world be much more unrealistic. And I would feel so sorry for many of my friends who always post their stories or any information on their blogs.
I don't think that blogging is a narcissistic act. The habits of narcissism and blogging are totally different. Blogging is a way to express one's feeling, emotion, or idea. It doesn't mean that those bloggers admire themselves too much. And if it were, blogging would not become such this popular.

2004 Keynote Speech
I think this keynote speech is one of the most impressive speeches. Even though I am not American, I can feel my adrenaline is pushed by what Obama said. Less than 20 minutes, Obama pulled almost every American core values together. He used his personal background to be an evidence for the values of freedom, equality, diversity, and opportunity that he has gotten from this country.
One of the most touchable parts is when he mentioned about all Americans are one family: no black America, no white America, no liberal America, no conservative America, but we are the United States of America. He said that we are the one, your problem is also my problem. Furthermore, he said, in this magical country, everyone has rights to freely show their expression, to participate in political process, and also had a place for everyone no matter who they are. He emphasized that we still have the American dream and we can still hope, which are the values that most American have forgotten but are the things that they really want.
